What is the Fit Check Call?

A free 30-minute conversation where we figure out if there's a good fit. I'll ask about your business, your tech frustrations, and what you're trying to accomplish. No sales pitch — just an honest assessment of whether I can help.

What should I bring to the call?

Just a list of the tools and platforms you're currently using, and a sense of what's not working. Screenshots or login access aren't needed at this stage — we're just getting the lay of the land.

Will you give pricing on the Fit Check Call?

I'll give you a ballpark range based on what we discuss. Exact pricing comes after the Assessment, when I understand the full scope. No surprises — everything is documented upfront.

How do I know which option is right for me?

Start with a conversation. Most clients begin with an Assessment to get clarity, then move into Projects or Partnership based on what we find. There's no pressure to commit upfront.

Do you work with my industry?

I work with small businesses across construction, home services, outdoor recreation, and other service-based industries. If you're frustrated by technology that doesn't work together, we should talk.

Tech Stack Assessment

What does the Assessment actually include?

A full audit of your tools, integrations, data flows, and gaps. You get a written report with a prioritized roadmap, ROI projections, and clear next steps. It's yours to keep whether you work with me further or not.

How long does the Assessment take?

Typically 5-7 business days from kickoff. The initial ecosystem mapping takes 2-3 days, followed by analysis and the written deliverable.

What happens after the Assessment?

You get the report and we review it together. From there, you decide: implement recommendations yourself, hire me for specific projects, or start a partnership. There's no pressure either way.

Implementation Projects

What types of projects do you handle?

Integration builds, platform migrations, automation workflows, and launch infrastructure. If it involves connecting tools, moving data, or building systems that work together — that's what I do.

How long does a typical project take?

Most projects wrap in 2-4 weeks. Complex migrations or multi-system builds might take 6-8 weeks. You'll know the timeline before we start.

What if the project scope changes?

Scope changes happen. I document everything as we go, so if priorities shift, we adjust the roadmap together. No surprise invoices — any scope change is discussed and agreed upon first.

Ongoing Partnership

What's included in the monthly partnership?

Monthly strategy calls, implementation hours, 2-hour response guarantee, and proactive monitoring of your systems. Think of it as having a CTO on retainer without the full-time salary.

What's your response time?

I respond within 2 hours during business hours. My clients describe me as "always reachable" and "responds within hours, not days." That's not marketing — it's how I operate.

Can I pause or cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no long-term contract. Most clients stay because the value is obvious, not because they're locked in. You can pause or cancel with 30 days notice.

Payment & Support

What are your payment terms?

Assessments are paid upfront. Projects are split 50/50 — half at kickoff, half on delivery. Partnerships are billed monthly. All pricing is transparent and documented before work begins.

What if I've been burned by consultants before?

I get it — that's why I structure things differently. You own everything we build. I document everything. There's no lock-in and no disappearing after the project. My clients stay for years because the relationship works.

Do you offer any guarantees?

I guarantee you'll own everything we build, I'll document everything thoroughly, and I'll be responsive throughout. If something isn't working, we'll address it — not sweep it under the rug.
